Common issues and solutions for GPU/NFT Owners on Silicon Network.

Not Seeing Earnings

Symptoms

  • GPU shows $0 earnings for multiple days
  • "Last earning" date is stale
  • Expected earnings not appearing in dashboard

Diagnosis Steps

  1. Check GPU status (My GPUs page)

    • Is GPU showing "Active" status?
    • Is GPU paired with an NFT?
    • When was last earning recorded?
  2. Verify agreement signed (Dashboard)

    • Have you signed your provider's agreement?
    • Is agreement status showing "Active"?
    • Check for any pending agreements
  3. Check GPU rental status (My GPUs > GPU Details)

    • Is GPU being rented?
    • Check utilization percentage
    • Review rental history

Solutions

If agreement not signed:

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Look for "Agreement Required" notification
  3. Click to review and sign agreement
  4. Earnings will begin after next rental

If GPU not paired:

  1. Contact your datacenter provider
  2. They need to pair your NFT to hardware
  3. Verify NFT Token ID with provider
  4. Wait for pairing confirmation

If GPU not being rented:

  • Low earnings are normal during low demand periods
  • Check Network page to compare with network averages
  • Contact provider if your GPU significantly underperforms
  • Review Calculator projections vs actual performance

Earnings fluctuate based on market demand for GPU compute. Some variation is normal.

Wallet Connection Issues

Can't Connect Wallet

Symptoms:

  • Wallet connection fails
  • "Connect Wallet" button not working
  • Wrong network detected

Solutions for Base Wallet (USDC payments):

  1. Ensure you're using a compatible wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect)
  2. Switch wallet to Base network (Chain ID: 8453)
  3. Clear browser cache and retry
  4. Disable browser extensions that might interfere
  5. Try incognito/private browsing mode

Solutions for Chia Wallet (NFT verification):

  1. Ensure Chia wallet is installed and running
  2. Check wallet is synced to latest block
  3. Verify NFT is in connected wallet address
  4. Restart wallet application
  5. Try reconnecting from Settings page

Wrong Wallet Connected

Symptoms:

  • Don't see your NFTs
  • Dashboard shows wrong balance
  • GPUs not appearing

Solutions:

  1. Disconnect current wallet
  2. Connect correct wallet with your NFT
  3. Refresh page after connecting
  4. Verify wallet address matches your NFT ownership
  5. Check both Chia and Base wallets are correct

Withdrawal Issues

Can't Withdraw Balance

Symptoms:

  • Withdrawal button disabled
  • Transaction fails
  • Balance not reaching wallet

Common Causes and Solutions:

Minimum Balance Not Met

Solution:

  • Most providers set minimum withdrawal amounts
  • Check minimum requirement with your provider
  • Wait until balance exceeds minimum
  • Balance will accumulate until you can withdraw

Insufficient Gas Fees

Symptoms:

  • Transaction rejected
  • "Insufficient funds for gas" error

Solution:

  1. Add small amount of ETH to your Base wallet for gas
  2. Usually need $1-5 worth of ETH
  3. ETH is needed even though payment is in USDC
  4. Retry withdrawal after adding ETH

Network Congestion

Symptoms:

  • Transaction pending for long time
  • High gas fee estimates

Solution:

  1. Wait for network congestion to clear
  2. Try withdrawal during off-peak hours
  3. Monitor Base network status
  4. Transaction will complete when network clears

Wrong Network Selected

Symptoms:

  • Transaction fails immediately
  • Wallet shows incorrect balance

Solution:

  1. Switch wallet to Base network
  2. Verify you see correct Base balance
  3. Retry withdrawal
  4. Check wallet is on Chain ID: 8453

Agreement and Signature Issues

Can't Sign Agreement

IRR/APY Metrics Confusing

IRR (Internal Rate of Return):

  • Accounts for your initial investment
  • Includes purchase price of NFT
  • Shows annualized return considering timing
  • Can be negative if recent purchase

APY (Annual Percentage Yield):

  • Based on current earnings rate
  • Projects forward if current rate continues
  • Does not factor initial investment
  • More relevant for daily earnings expectations

Total Earnings:

  • Cumulative all-time earnings
  • Does not subtract NFT purchase price
  • Gross earnings before any fees

Why they might seem off:

  • Recent purchase means IRR needs time to improve
  • Low current demand affects APY projections
  • Total earnings accumulate slowly at first
  • Comparison to other investments requires context

Secondary Market and Trading Issues

Can't List GPU for Sale

Symptoms:

  • List button disabled
  • Transaction fails
  • Listing doesn't appear

Solutions:

  1. Check GPU eligibility

    • GPU must be paired to NFT
    • No active disputes or holds
    • Verify ownership of NFT
  2. Verify NFT ownership

    • Check Chia wallet contains NFT
    • Confirm Token ID matches
