Points are the rewards system from the Silicon protocol

Silicon points act as an additional reward system for early community members to the Silicon protocol. To start users can earn points by pre-depositing USDC to finance purchases of new GPU servers that will serve as the economic backbone of our pool token. In the future the points program can scale to include other activities that benefit the Silicon ecosystem (like providing liquidity on Uniswap).

Cluster 01 Pre-Deposit Campaign

The pre-deposit campaign runs for approximately 2 months (possibly shorter if we hit our $5M cap early). During this period, you'll earn points and a claim on pool tokens based on your deposit timing. Cluster 01 has a total points budget of 20 million points.

• 1 USDC = 1 pool token (regardless of timing)
• First $1M in pre-deposits: 5 points per USDC
• Next $3M in pre-deposits: 4 points per USDC
• Final $1M in pre-deposits: 3 points per USDC

To reiterate, USDC will convert to pool tokens at TGE. Points have no monetary value and represent campaign participation only.
